In Conversation with Author , Poet, Influencer and Entrepreneur Neha

There are very few people who have multiple skills and in this growing world this is considered to be a great boon. Let us meet Neha who is a multitalented personality and let us know more about her in this interview.

Q1) How did you notice that you had so many skills present in you ?

Ans : I didn't noticed at all and that's what makes it easy to accumulate mentally and apply in my physical life with each day. Having skills such as modelling, photography, styling, cosmetic work, book, lyrics, and poetry writing, guitar playing that develop over time and require consistency and patience, I think when I multiplied them with my business knowledge, they turned out to be something grander. Let's just say, "A child began to learn playing office and eventually bought one at home with interest and diversity."

Q2) Tell us about books that you have authored and your journey as a writer .

Ans : I have authored 15 books and co-authored 9, if things work out well then my tenth anthology might hit one of the reading platforms soon. I am a MultiGenre author and I write what my readers would love to read(*Strikes the curiosity*).

Apart from being reader friendly author, I prefer to write on the concepts that break stereotypes, empower the female generation and promote equality of gender and spread unconditional love. Ofcourse every aspect of entertainment, subject matter and life is touched. 'Fiction is often the best reality.' My books represent this phrase in a much diluted format.

These have been the most memorable and hectic years of my life while I was pursuing MBA in 2014 to 2016 and thereafter, preparing for my higher education along with writing these life-changing books, poetries and lyrics.

Recently, I am working on several projects about which I can't tell you much but there's a particular poetry project which is under the developmental stage. If I manage to get the theme and words in sync, we might soon be talking about my individual poetry book, titled as "Harbinger."

Q3)The teenagers nowadays often find themselves lost in topics like which career to work on and what career to choose. Let us know your views on this topic.

Ans: As a teen, it's easy to be lost in the mayhem and not have a clear vision of a future. Though there's nothing to panic in such scenarios but concentrate on where your passion leads you. You might get a million advices from your teachers and family; but eventually it's you who must decide to take on the career which enables you to utilize your knowledge and skills to the peak point. Always remember, it's easy to give a dream but difficult to follow, hence you should always weave a dream in your heart and mind which you'd pursue with a clean conscience until the end of life.

Q4) What are the hardships that you have faced in your journey and tell us how you overcame those hardships .

Ans: When I was an amateur writer, I was always attacked by writers who were pursuing literature course since I was from a non-writing background and didn't had any degree in the subject. I took this path mainly because I felt a lot of emotions and writing was the only activity which made me unleash my deepest sorrows as well as imagination. I wrote from the heart while they applied their mind to dismiss my books or find plot holes that weren't there. Initially, I felt the need to retort but then I realized I must prove my mettle by continuing my work. I did exactly what I said I'd do and soon I even encountered other writers plagiarising my plots, phrases and style. It's obviously offensive thing to do and a punishable crime. However, I didn't reported the plagiarist and allowed them to be inspired from my work.

People from my past who didn't liked me succeeding, even hacked my all social accounts to stop me from promoting my books. Considering it as a compliment of their triggering jealousy, I merely confronted them and requested them to not be insecure from something which they don't understand because it's not about them, it's about me and my satisfaction level. Although, I was supposed to block them, but I am glad all these plagiarists and hackers blocked me out of envy or defeat it's hard to say but I think I did them a favor by replying them atleast once. (*Laughs*)
